Sorry to be writing in english. I don´t know french and i´m going on a travel for work on Marseille in France.
In this trip i would like to buy a notebook (Ordinateur Portable).
I would be pleased if someone give me the address of good stores, shoppings or whatever were i could buy one?

It depends on what you need
E.g., you can find some typical resellers who distribute some famous trademarks like Acer, Asus, etc. But, in fact, there isn't a full coverage for the warranty in this case : if your laptop fails down, you'd rather contact the firm than the reseller... So, the warranty is directly dependent from the manufacturer. Some firms are better than the others.

But, if you want to have a whole coverage and a whole assistancy whatever you need, you'd better go to dedicated supermarket chains like Darty or Boulanger (the equivalent to Dixons in the UK ) because if you have to travel in France, your laptop can be repaired anywhere...

Be more precise, please, if you want to have good answers

Thanks Gege ... in fact i´m considering to buy an Acer Aspire 5022WLMI. I used bizrate.fr to find out some prices and this laptop has a good configuration for the price around 1100 Euros. It is what i have in the pocket =)

Can i find such laptop in Darty or Boulanger? If not where in Marseille?

Huh, nice choice, but it can be a bit difficult to find this product... Why ? Because Acer isn't really high-distributed...
For instance, Darty sell this trademark but there are a few products only, not all. And a small reseller doesn't want to get a huge stock, because it can be stolen and the prices decrease quickly...

I fear that you have to find your happiness on Internet, not in Marseille

Let's get back bak to the topic : Gege makes the point by stressing the fact that you should choose an international reseller. Also, it will be easier for you to add/replace parts even after the warranty has expired. It seems that Dell offers a worldwide warranty (to be confirmed).

Ain't trolling : I am not trying to make you buy your laptop online. I just mean that, if you choose a reseller for warranty or proximity (marseille) criterias, he might be 10% above the online prices, that's fine. But If he's 25% above, you should either choose another laptop... or another reseller
